This humble bedroom was transformed into a design oasis through a few really distinct and creative elements, such as adding a copper plated sliding door to separate the bathroom as it’s own space, a combination of different color and wood materials on the ceiling, which help draw the eye up rather than down to the small space and really distinctive touches of rustic elements, like the wood flooring and furniture piece.
When you don’t have a lot of space for storage, make your own! This bedroom created its own storage by adding a space in the hallway where the vaulted ceiling is. This area is perfect for placing extra blankets or winter clothing. By painting the ceiling a darker color, the eye is drawn upward and takes the focus off the smaller room. Bright textures on the bed and windows on both sides of the space also make it look large.
