Create a visually interesting furniture layout. A great way to distract from the concept of a small spacial area is to offset the furniture in a way that is challenging and interesting to the the eye. For example in the bedroom space above, the integrated twin size bed is not the focal point of the room but rather than Tetris-like wall pattern play.
Other ways to make the most of a small space is to use furniture that hides storage well. The tall wooden cabinet looks like it works in the room perfectly and doesn’t take up a lot of space. There’s more storage under the bed as well. Three different pull-out drawers can hold clothing or other items. Each furniture uses the same shade of wood, which gives the room a cohesive feel.
